Healing Zone & Comfort Zone

How Healing Can Take Us Out of Our Comfort Zone

Receiving healing can be a lot of fun.

However, the path of healing is not always fun.

When we receive healing, we enter a deep space and, depending on our sensitivity and our ability to feel, we can have all sorts of interesting experiences.

In the healing zone, seeing colours, hearing a voice, gaining insights, feeling warm or cold, experiencing tingling sensations are common. Such experiences are usually quite pleasant and confirm that we are receiving Light for healing.

Emotions and pain can also result from receiving healing and we often dislike them because they take us out of our comfort zone. From time to time, I hear from participants in remote Healing Sessions, Light Programs or Light Transmissions that they have experienced pain in scar tissue or in an uncomfortable body part, such as a hip or tailbone. This pain disappears once the healing is over, and people wonder why they didn’t experience something more pleasant.

Pain, heat or cold are signs that the Light is penetrating deep into the tissue to free it from an energetic blockage that is holding you in an unhealthy pattern.

When an energetic blockage is released, it can lead to a sudden emotion such as sadness, fear, anger or even rage. These are often old feelings, that were once ‘swallowed’ instead of expressed, because we could not utter them for various valid reasons at a younger age or in a previous life. The healing releases the emotion that was stuck in the blockage. It is very important that we do not repress these emotions, but give them space to wash through and witness them as they come out.

Releasing emotions that are trapped in our system is actually very important on the path to healing. Once released, we feel a sense of relief and become instantly lighter, clearer and brighter.

Emotion Often Comes in Waves

Emotions often come in waves. Recently, I experienced waves of sadness and shame coming from tissues that I had been trying to make more flexible and for which I had asked healing. The blockage that held my tissues tight began to release emotions that I had been holding there since puberty. In my teens and the decade that followed, quite a few family members would tell me on a regular basis that I was the shame of the family because I was not married, was in a relationship with a black man, and played music on stage. Every time again their negative comments and letters hurt me, but as I didn’t know how to handle it, I swallowed my sadness and shame and kept my mouth shut. I buried these emotions so deeply that only recently did I feel safe and ready to release them and replace them with dignity.

Receiving healing is essential for anyone who wishes to grow their personality and develop spiritually.

Today there are many healing methods to choose from. After many years of working with healing energy, such as Reiki, I found my way to healing with Light. It was the Emerald Heart Light that opened my eyes to the fact that we can heal much deeper, more profoundly, effectively and efficiently with Light than with energy.

Since 2012 I have been training regularly with David Ashworth, the original channel for The Emerald Heart Light. Working with this Light has healed me to such an extent that in 2017 I developed into the channel for The Mary Magdalene Light, and for a few years now also for the Light of the Divine Mother.

I am convinced that everyone has the capacity to become a healing vessel for Light. But having the capacity is different from having the courage to heal yourself to such an extent that your body becomes a healing vessel for Light.

Emotion Often Comes in Waves

If you desire to heal and grow beyond your current self, I invite you to be courageous on your healing path and allow yourself many healing moments outside of your comfort zone.

  • Don’t be alarmed if you experience something you can’t explain, such as seeing colours, hearing a voice, gaining insights, feeling hot or cold, or experiencing tingling sensations. This is fun!
  • Don’t be afraid if you experience pain during a healing. A blockage is being addressed!
  • Don’t be alarmed if an emotion suddenly releases. You are being freed from a blockage!
  • Don’t be afraid if the emotion spreads in waves throughout the day. You are being liberated on many levels, each time a little deeper!

However, the most important thing on the path of healing is the actions we take to step out of our comfort zone, along with the healings we undergo. These actions affirm and establish the healed aspects within you. Let me give a few examples.

If you are experiencing throat issues, take a healing such as a Throat Chakra Month or a personal consultation, and gradually step out of your comfort zone by practicing speaking your truth instead of avoiding disharmony.

If you struggle with your self-confidence, follow a healing program like our 6-month Self-Love Journey and practice becoming more visible by e.g. dressing more expressively.

If you struggle with your femininity, take e.g. a Mary Magdalene Light Transmission, a Womb Blessing or our 6-month program ‘Ignite The Magdalene Within You,’ and step out of your comfort zone by doing what you fear most, step by step.

Receiving healing is fun.

Walking the path of healing is not always fun, but it is very rewarding. In order to become healed and whole within, to fully radiate the love and light that we are, we must regularly step out of our comfort zone.

All we need is a little courage.

I wish you much courage on your path to healing.
